According to the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), India’s domestic tourism market remained one of the world’s strongest in 2025, with domestic visitor spending reaching US$203 billion, accounting for 86% of total Travel & Tourism spending. The segment also recorded more than 10% year-on-year growth, reflecting robust domestic demand. WTTC said the figures provide a strong foundation for future growth while highlighting opportunities to expand international visitor spending.
