IndiGo will launch daily direct flights between Mumbai and Dar es Salaam from 20 November 2026, adding Tanzania to its expanding international network. Flight 6E 1851 will depart Mumbai at 02:20 and arrive in Dar es Salaam at 06:05, while the return 6E 1852 will depart at 07:05 and reach Mumbai at 15:55. The airline said the service will strengthen connectivity between India and East Africa, supporting business, tourism, trade and education links. IndiGo currently operates direct services from India to Nairobi, Mauritius and Seychelles. The airline has a fleet of 430+ aircraft, operates nearly 2,200 daily flights and connects 95+ domestic and 45+ international destinations. The Mumbai–Dar es Salaam route is currently also served nonstop by Air Tanzania.
