Karnataka Tourism Society concludes Gujarat B2B roadshows


The Karnataka Tourism Society (KTS) has concluded its four-city Gujarat B2B roadshow series, engaging more than 600 travel buyers and 40 tourism stakeholders. Organised in partnership with central and state tourism bodies, the initiative aimed to strengthen Karnataka’s presence in one of its key domestic source markets.

Held from 24–27 June across Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Surat, the roadshows were organised by KTS in association with the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India; Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka; Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC); and Jungle Lodges & Resorts Ltd. (JLR).

The series showcased Karnataka’s tourism offerings across heritage, culture, eco-tourism, adventure, and luxury hospitality while providing a platform for networking between the travel trade and tourism stakeholders.

 Participants from Karnataka included Air Travel Shoppe, Arcor Hotels Mysuru, Areca County, Bigtravels, BlueEarth Hospitality, CGH Earth, Cintacor Island Resort, Coorg Cliffs Resorts, Evolve Back Resorts, Heritage Resort Hampi, Indo Asia Hotels & Resorts, Intersight Tours & Travels, Java Rain Resorts, Jungle Lodges & Resorts, Kaav Safari Lodge Kabini, Kadkani River Resorts, Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation, Machaan Lodges & Resorts, Mahindra Holidays & Resorts, Maitri Heritage, Narayani Holidays and Conferences, Paradise Resorts Udupi, Quality Holidays and Cars, Scylla Luxury Resort & Spa, SGR Travels, Skyway International Travels, Tamara Leisure Experiences, TGI Hotels & Resorts, The Leela Coorg Forest Sanctuary, The Serai Resorts, The Silver Sky Hotels & Resorts, The Windflower Resorts & Spa, The Yellow Bamboo Resort & Spa, Travel India Company, Tripbanao, Trivik Hotels & Resorts, WelcomHeritage Shivavilas Palace Hampi, and Woodstock Resorts.

The roadshows also featured destination quizzes and raffle draws, with winners receiving complimentary stay vouchers and gift hampers.Syama Raju, President, Karnataka Tourism Society, said, “The Gujarat Series Roadshows have been a landmark initiative in connecting Karnataka’s tourism stakeholders with the vibrant travel trade community of Gujarat. Building on the momentum of the recently concluded Discover Chikkamagaluru showcase, which highlighted Karnataka’s coffee heritage and cultural richness, these roadshows further reinforce our commitment to promoting Karnataka as a preferred destination for both domestic and international travelers.”

Domestic outreach to continue

Jagadeesh H., Secretary, Karnataka Tourism Society, said, “These roadshows exemplify the strength of government–private partnerships in tourism promotion. Collaboration between state agencies and private stakeholders ensures that such initiatives deliver maximum impact. B2B meets like these not only create new linkages but also enhance visibility for Karnataka across key feeder markets.”

He added that KTS will continue its domestic outreach through a series of roadshows planned later this year across Mumbai, Rajasthan, Punjab, NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, covering cities including Mumbai, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Raipur, Chennai, Coimbatore, Kochi, Pune, Nagpur, Bhopal, Indore, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and Hyderabad. According to KTS, these initiatives are aimed at strengthening Karnataka’s presence in key domestic source markets and reinforcing its position as a leading tourism destination.
