The Himachal Pradesh government is strengthening its adventure tourism portfolio with a 4.3-km eco-adventure zipline project at Naddi in Dharamshala, projected to be among the longest in Asia. Developed under the PPP model at an estimated investment of ₹7.41 crore, the project is expected to boost visitor experiences while creating opportunities for hotels, homestays, transport operators, guides and local tourism entrepreneurs.
Connecting Gallu, Bal village, Naddi and Maggie Point Khad, the zipline will offer panoramic views of the Dhauladhar range. The initiative aligns with the state’s larger vision of developing Kangra as Himachal’s tourism capital and promoting sustainable, experience-led tourism with greater local economic participation.
