NITI Aayog organised the National Workshop and Report Launch on ‘Unlocking Growth in Tourism and Hospitality Sector’, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, State Governments, and other key stakeholders to deliberate on strategies for strengthening India’s tourism and hospitality ecosystem.
The workshop commenced with a Welcome Address by Shri Yugal Joshi, Programme Director, Culture & Tourism, NITI Aayog, followed by the Keynote Address by Shri Bhuvnesh Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, who highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts in unlocking the sector’s growth potential and enhancing India’s competitiveness as a global tourism destination.
The workshop served as a platform for constructive dialogue and knowledge sharing on key policy interventions aimed at accelerating investment, improving the ease of doing business, and fostering sustainable growth in the tourism and hospitality sector.
