Saudi Arabia’s newest full-service carrier, Riyadh Air, will commence daily non-stop flights between Mumbai and Riyadh from August 4, marking its entry into the Indian market and strengthening air connectivity between India and the Gulf. Operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, the service will offer four cabin classes and target business, leisure, VFR and premium travellers.
The launch expands outbound options while creating fresh opportunities for corporate travel, MICE, premium leisure and onward connectivity via Riyadh to Europe, North America and the Middle East as the airline scales its international network. The move also aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy to position Riyadh as a global aviation hub. Riyadh Air has outlined plans to serve more than 100 destinations by 2030, making India a key source market in its long-term expansion strategy. Booking for these flights opened from 6 July.
