The Northern India Chapter of the Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) held its Annual General Meeting 2026 on 22 July at The Park, New Delhi, coinciding with celebrations marking the chapter’s Ruby Anniversary.
Chapter Chairman Dinesh Kumar presented the Yearly Report during the proceedings, following which the Minutes of the previous AGM and the Treasurer’s Report and Accounts for FY 2025-26 were approved by members. New members were welcomed into the fold and presented with membership certificates along with a green plant each.
As part of the Ruby Anniversary festivities, several prominent industry figures addressed the gathering, including veteran Subhash Goyal, TAFI National MC Member Khushvinder Sarna, Past Chairman Ashwani Sharma, and Past Secretary Mukul Aggarwal. Also present was Yadukul Guglani, honoured for completing 60 years in the travel trade, alongside Anirban from Akasa Airlines and Rohan Chopra and Gagneet representing the SATTE team.
TAFI-NI presented each of the guests with a green plant as a token symbolising prosperity and growth, following which a cake-cutting ceremony was held to mark the milestone anniversary.
The event concluded with a lunch hosted for all attendees, followed by a formal vote of thanks delivered by TAFI-NI Secretary Rajiv Aggarwal.
The AGM was attended by the chapter’s leadership, including Chairman Dinesh Kumar, Secretary Rajiv Aggarwal, Treasurer Navin Kumar Gupta, and Executive Committee members Charu Arora and Niti Batra.
