Indeva Hotels & Resorts has expanded its midscale brand, The Mor Stays, with the signing of Hotel Sheetal Regency in Mathura. Located near Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, the property strengthens the group’s presence in India’s growing spiritual tourism market through a management partnership focused on enhancing guest experiences and operational standards.
Indeva Hotels & Resorts has signed Hotel Sheetal Regency, one of Mathura’s longstanding hospitality properties, under The Mor Stays brand. The hotel will be rebranded as Hotel Sheetal Regency – The Mor Stays – Krishna Janmabhoomi, Mathura.
Situated close to Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, the hotel offers access to the city’s major religious and cultural attractions. The property caters to pilgrims, leisure travellers, families, tour groups, weddings, and corporate guests.
Hotel Sheetal Regency has been operating for more than 25 years and is among the city’s first classified hotels. Under the partnership, the property will undergo a phased brand integration, introducing The Mor Stays’ operating systems, service standards, and guest experience initiatives while retaining its existing identity.
Barun Gupta, Chief Operating Officer, Indeva Hotels & Resorts, said, “Hotel Sheetal Regency is already a renowned hospitality landmark in Mathura and one of the city’s first classified hotels, with a legacy of serving premium guests for over 25 years. The signing of this property marks another important milestone in strengthening our presence across India’s high-potential spiritual tourism destinations. Mathura welcomes millions of devotees and travellers every year, and we are excited to introduce The Mor Stays experience to this iconic city. Our vision is to offer guests comfortable, value-driven stays backed by exceptional service, operational excellence, and authentic local experiences.”
He added that the growth of spiritual tourism and increasing demand for professionally managed hospitality offerings present opportunities for the brand to expand in pilgrimage destinations.
