Turkish Airlines has added Ohrid to its growing network. This new route marks the airline’s second destination in North Macedonia after Skopje, its 123rd destination in Europe, and 353rd worldwide. Ohrid, known for its rich history and stunning natural beauty, is home to Lake Ohrid, a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognised for its biodiversity and cultural significance. With this addition, Turkish Airlines strengthens its presence in the Balkans and offers more travel options to passengers.
Flights between Istanbul Airport and Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport will operate four times a week. According to the 2025 winter schedule, flights will run on Thursdays and Fridays starting March 27, 2025, while the summer schedule, beginning March 30, 2025, will also include services on Mondays and Sundays. Departure times vary slightly between the seasons, ensuring convenient travel options for both leisure and business travellers. All flight times are local, providing flexibility and seamless connections to Turkish Airlines’ extensive global network.
To celebrate the launch of this new route, Turkish Airlines is offering special promotional fares. Passengers booking tickets between April 1-15, 2025, for travel from April 15 – August 28, 2025, can fly from Istanbul to Ohrid for USD 139 and from Ohrid to Istanbul for EUR 129. These exclusive fares are available on the Turkish Airlines website, with prices subject to variation at ticket offices and travel agencies. This promotion provides an excellent opportunity for travellers to explore one of Europe’s oldest and most culturally rich cities.
