Andhra Pradesh aims to attract over Rs 20,000 crore in tourism investments under its AP Tourism Policy 2024-29. The state government said the initiative will promote hospitality projects, tourism hubs, and infrastructure development while creating employment opportunities for more than 1.22 lakh people across Andhra Pradesh.
Officials said 117 MoUs signed during the past two years are expected to support tourism-led employment generation across the state. To attract private investment, the government has introduced incentives including capital subsidies, SGST reimbursements, stamp duty exemptions, and industrial status for tourism projects. A dedicated Tourism Land Allotment Policy has also been introduced to streamline approvals and land allocation processes.
