Uttar Pradesh approves ₹10 crore tourism projects across three spiritual destinations


The Uttar Pradesh government approved tourism development projects worth INR9.97 crore for Bulandshahr, Chandauli, and Chitrakoot to strengthen religious and cultural tourism infrastructure. The initiative includes temple beautification, rural tourism projects, visitor facilities, and heritage preservation aimed at boosting pilgrimage tourism and local employment opportunities.

The approved projects include temple development works in Bulandshahr, religious and rural tourism initiatives in Chandauli, and infrastructure upgrades at sacred sites in Chitrakoot. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said the projects aim to improve tourist amenities, promote lesser-known spiritual destinations, and support regional economic growth through increased tourism activity and employment generation.
