Effective 23 July 2026, VFS Global has launched six new Indian Consular Application Centres (ICACs) across Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney. The new centres are designed to enhance accessibility, efficiency, and overall customer experience for the Indian diaspora and other applicants availing consular services in Australia.
Key enhancements include an increased number of service counters, higher staffing capacity, and greater appointment availability to support improved service efficiency and reduced waiting times. Applicants will also benefit from extended application submission and collection hours.
A range of optional application facilitation services are available at the centres, including document return, SMS updates, photocopying, photograph services, and assistance with form filling, as applicable. Customer support has been further strengthened through a toll-free multilingual contact centre, along with 24×7 access via Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems and AI-enabled digital support channels.
All applicants are required to book appointments online in advance before visiting the centres through the official website.

The Indian Consular Application Centres (ICACs) are operating from the following locations:
- Adelaide: Suite 8.01, Level 8, 111 Gawler Place, Adelaide SA 5000
- Brisbane: Suite 0201, Level 2, 127 Creek Street, Brisbane City QLD 4000
- Canberra: Part Level 6, 40 Marcus Clarke Street, Canberra ACT 2601
- Melbourne: Ground Floor, 324 St Kilda Road, Melbourne VIC 3004
- Perth: Ground Floor, 23 Barrack Street, Perth WA 6000
- Sydney: Level 9, 22–24 Market Street, Sydney NSW 2000
Important information for Customers:
With the transition to the new locations and systems, applicants are advised to review the updated website for revised procedures, including application checklists, designated GPO box details for postal applications, accepted payment methods, and applicable service fees, as these have been updated.
Please note that applications will be accepted only if submitted with complete and accurate details and sent to the designated address.
Old centres have already ceased public operations with effect from 30 June 2026.
