Weaker rupee drives Indian travellers towards affordable Asian destinations: Guldeep Singh Sahni


Indian outbound travellers are increasingly choosing Asian destinations as the weakening rupee makes Europe and the US more expensive, according to Guldeep Singh Sahni, Managing Director, Weldon Tours & Travels. He said value-for-money destinations across Asia are witnessing stronger demand. “Asian destinations like Sri Lanka, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam are attracting Indians due to weaker rupee,” Sahni said, highlighting a clear shift in outbound travel preferences.
