AATO takes Brand Andaman to Lucknow and Jaipur, targeting North India’s travel trade with new B2B partnerships

The Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO) conducted tourism roadshows in Lucknow and Jaipur, led by President M. Vinod. A 25-member delegation met travel agents, tour operators and tourism stakeholders across Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan to strengthen B2B linkages and promote Andaman packages. AATO General Secretary Saikat Biswas presented the destination’s beach, marine, adventure, eco-tourism and historical offerings, along with emerging tourism products. The roadshows form part of AATO’s outreach to North Indian source markets and efforts to develop new trade partnerships. The initiative comes as Andaman continues to address connectivity concerns, with high airfares and limited aviation capacity cited among challenges for tourism growth. The islands recorded about 7.2 lakh tourist visits in 2024, according to tourism data.
