Air India Express has announced its Winter Schedule 2026, described as the airline’s largest winter network to date, with expanded connectivity across India and key international markets. Effective October 25, 2026, the schedule will be introduced in phases, taking operations to around 585 daily flights, including approximately 435 domestic and up to 150 international departures.
The expanded schedule will be supported by a fleet of more than 105 aircraft and increased capacity across the airline’s domestic and international network. Air India Express will introduce more than 40 new routes during the winter season, while weekly flights are expected to rise from around 3,150 in the Summer 2026 schedule to nearly 4,100.
Nipun Aggarwal, Chairman, Air India Express, said the scale of the Winter Schedule reflects the airline’s confidence in India’s growth and the importance of air connectivity to trade, tourism and economic development. He added that the airline would continue to focus on accessible and convenient travel while expanding connectivity to metros, emerging cities and underserved markets.
International additions include Abu Dhabi–Goa, Amritsar–Abu Dhabi, Bangkok–Indore, Bangkok–Kochi, Bangkok–Visakhapatnam, Bengaluru–Kathmandu, Chennai–Singapore, Delhi–Riyadh, Dubai–Goa, Kochi–Kuwait, Lucknow–Ras Al Khaimah, Mumbai–Kuwait and Phuket–Hyderabad, among other routes. Several of these services will operate multiple times a week, with Chennai–Singapore scheduled at 14 times weekly and Bengaluru–Kathmandu operating daily.
The airline is also expanding its domestic network with new or enhanced services including Ahmedabad–Delhi, Bengaluru–Coimbatore, Bengaluru–Goa, Bengaluru–Jodhpur, Bengaluru–Madurai, Bhopal–Navi Mumbai, Delhi–Jaipur, Delhi–Udaipur, Hyderabad–Pune, Indore–Navi Mumbai and Kolkata–Pune. Connections to destinations including Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair), Mangaluru and Udaipur will further broaden network options.
One-stop connectivity is also set to increase from around 1,330 weekly connections in the summer schedule to nearly 1,600 in winter, providing passengers with more options across the wider network. Air India Express said the expansion reflects its focus on disciplined growth and strengthening connections between cities, regions and international destinations while navigating higher fuel costs and broader operating challenges.
