EVA Air will begin a new nonstop service between Taipei and Delhi starting December 1, with bookings now open through the airline’s website and travel agencies. Operating five flights per week using Airbus A330-300 aircraft, the new route will make EVA Air the only Taiwan-based airline offering nonstop passenger flights to India.
Under the new schedule, flight BR367 will depart Taipei at 11:00 and arrive in Delhi at 15:35, operating on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The return flight, BR368, will depart Delhi at 19:55 and arrive in Taipei at 04:20 the following day, on the same days of the week. Actual flight timings remain subject to official confirmation on EVA Air’s website.
EVA Air President Clay Sun described the launch of the nonstop Taipei-Delhi service as an important milestone in the airline’s network development, noting that growing ties across manufacturing, semiconductors, artificial intelligence and technology continue to strengthen economic relations between Taiwan and India. He added that the new route offers a more efficient travel option for both business and leisure passengers, while also reinforcing connectivity between India and North America through EVA Air’s Taipei hub.
The new service is also expected to provide a more convenient alternative for travellers who currently rely on other Asian gateways for connections. Through EVA Air’s partnership with Star Alliance member Air India, passengers will be able to connect beyond Delhi to major Indian cities, while Indian travellers can use the Taipei hub to access EVA Air’s North American network—catering to rising demand from business travellers, students, researchers, and those visiting friends and family.
Additionally, eligible Indian nationals travelling to the United States or Canada may benefit from Taiwan’s conditional visa-waiver transit programme, making short stopovers in Taiwan more convenient while supporting inbound tourism to the island.
Beyond its role as India’s political and commercial capital, Delhi also serves as the gateway to the country’s popular Golden Triangle circuit, linking Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. In partnership with leading travel operators, EVA Air will offer escorted tours ranging from six to nine days, featuring UNESCO World Heritage Sites, cultural experiences, premium accommodations and Mandarin-speaking guides. These tour packages will be available exclusively through travel agencies in Taiwan.
North American travellers will also be able to take advantage of EVA Air’s broader Asian network, with convenient connections through Taiwan to major cities across the region. By linking Asia and the Americas through an efficient hub model backed by award-winning five-star service, EVA Air continues to position itself as a premium and reliable choice for global travellers.
