Saudi Arabia’s low-cost carrier flyadeal has officially entered the Indian market by launching daily non-stop flights between Hyderabad and Riyadh, marking its first scheduled service to the country. The move strengthens air connectivity between India and Saudi Arabia, one of India’s fastest-growing international aviation markets, driven by VFR, labour, business and religious travel demand.
The daily service positions Hyderabad as flyadeal’s debut Indian destination and complements parent carrier Saudia’s existing operations, while increasing competition on the India–Saudi route alongside IndiGo and Flynas. The airline has also indicated plans to announce a second Indian destination as part of its broader expansion strategy.
The launch expands low-cost travel options to Saudi Arabia and is expected to stimulate outbound leisure, business and pilgrimage traffic while supporting stronger bilateral tourism and aviation ties between the two countries.
