IndiGo to reinstate Hubballi–Mumbai flights from Sept 1

Low-cost carrier IndiGo will reinstate its direct flight services between Hubballi and Mumbai effective September 1, restoring a key domestic link connecting North Karnataka with the country’s financial capital.

The resumption comes after a gap in operations on the sector and is expected to significantly enhance connectivity for business and leisure travellers from the Hubballi–Dharwad region. The route has traditionally witnessed strong demand from traders, SMEs, students and medical travellers.

According to industry sources, the reinstated service is likely to operate as a daily non-stop flight, with a flight time of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, in line with earlier schedules operated by the airline.

The revival of this route will also provide seamless onward connectivity from Mumbai to multiple domestic and international destinations, strengthening Hubballi’s integration into the broader aviation network.

The move underscores IndiGo’s continued focus on bolstering regional connectivity and tapping into high-demand Tier-II city routes as part of its network expansion strategy.
