Reviewing passenger facilities, security arrangements, and immigration system at major airports, Ram Mohan Naidu, Minister of Civil Aviation, Government of India, said that a coordinated plan has been prepared at every touchpoint of the airport to ensure seamless movement of passengers. Automated x-ray tray return system will be implemented in a phased manner at all airports. Directions have been issued to establish authorised Immigration Check Posts at Agartala and Jewar Airports. To popularise Fast Track Immigration – Trusted Travellers’ Programme (FTI-TTP), international passengers will be encouraged for registration on the portal with the cooperation of airlines.
