Kerala hospitality sector calls shutdown as commercial LPG prices surge beyond ₹3,000


Kerala’s hospitality sector has called a statewide shutdown on 6 May after commercial LPG cylinder prices surged by ₹993, crossing ₹3,000. The Kerala Hotel and Restaurant Association warned that rising fuel costs are sharply increasing operational expenses, putting pressure on margins and forcing potential menu price revisions.
