Mysuru tourism authorities have launched a multilingual progressive web application offering visitors information on heritage landmarks, cultural attractions, wildlife destinations, local experiences and tourism services. The platform supports eight foreign languages and can be accessed through smartphones, tablets and desktops without downloading a separate application. Tourism Assistant Director V M Prabhuswamy said the portal also features Mysuru’s tourism mascots, Ammu and Gajju, with Gajju conceptualised as a digital guide. The platform is intended to improve online visibility for local tourist guides, operators and other tourism stakeholders. The launch builds on Mysuru’s earlier initiative to provide multilingual QR-code information portals across 33 tourist sites, introduced in October 2025.
