Hospitality startup NapTapGo has raised INR 8 crore in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) to support its expansion across India through a capital-efficient co-investment model with local partners.
The company currently operates more than 130 capsule pods across Noida, Amritsar and Katra, serving over 10,000 guests. Its Katra property is recognised as Asia’s highest-altitude pod hotel, while its Amritsar outlet is the city’s largest pod hotel.
NapTapGo offers flexible accommodation by allowing guests to pay only for the hours they stay, catering to business travellers, pilgrims, solo travellers and transit passengers with affordable and hygienic stays.
The startup gained national recognition after appearing on Shark Tank India Season 5 and has signed an MoU with HPCL to explore capsule hotels at highway transit locations.
Founder and CEO Nitin Malhotra said the funding will help the company expand through a mix of company-owned properties and co-invested franchise units while maintaining operational quality and guest experience.
According to Inflection Point Ventures, the investment reflects rising demand for flexible and affordable accommodation, with mature NapTapGo properties already recording occupancy levels of up to 80%.
