OA Globe DMC, along with Azerbaijan’s distinguished hospitality brands — The Ritz-Carlton Baku, JW Marriott Absheron Baku, and AHG Hotels & Resorts — successfully hosted two exclusive trade engagement events in India, bringing together leading travel professionals, tour operators, MICE planners, wedding specialists, and hospitality partners to strengthen industry relationships and showcase Azerbaijan’s growing potential for the Indian market.
The series commenced with the OA Globe DMC Networking Night in Ahmedabad on 2nd July 2026, followed by an exclusive dinner evening in Mumbai on 7th July 2026. Both events provided a valuable platform for travel partners to connect directly with destination experts and hospitality stakeholders while gaining deeper insights into Azerbaijan’s evolving tourism landscape.
The participating hospitality brands showcased their extensive portfolio across Azerbaijan, offering exceptional options for leisure travel, destination weddings, corporate events, incentives, and MICE groups. Beyond Baku, the brands highlighted their presence in key destinations such as Shahdag and Sheki, enabling travellers to experience the country’s diverse landscapes, mountain retreats, cultural heritage, and luxury hospitality.
Over the years, OA Globe DMC and its hospitality partners have actively invested in promoting Azerbaijan within the Indian market through destination showcases, roadshows, and multiple familiarisation (FAM) trips for Indian travel professionals. These initiatives have played a significant role in increasing destination awareness and helping travel partners gain first-hand experience of Azerbaijan’s offerings.
Speaking at the events, Rahim Aslam, Founder & Director, OA Globe DMC, emphasized the importance of collaboration between destination management companies, hospitality brands, and travel partners in driving destination growth.
“We are proud to bring together some of Azerbaijan’s finest hospitality brands under one platform. The participation of The Ritz-Carlton Baku, JW Marriott Absheron Baku, and AHG Hotels & Resorts reflects the destination’s strong commitment to the Indian market. Collectively, these partners offer outstanding experiences not only in Baku but also across destinations such as Shahdag and Sheki, catering to leisure travellers, destination weddings, luxury holidays, corporate events, and MICE groups. Through our strong on-ground presence, strategic partnerships, and continued investment in trade engagement and FAM trips, OA Globe remains committed to strengthening Azerbaijan’s visibility and creating greater opportunities for our travel partners across India,” said Rahim Aslam.
With demand for experiential international travel continuing to rise, OA Globe DMC remains focused on enhancing destination awareness, strengthening trade partnerships, and supporting Azerbaijan’s growth within the Indian outbound travel market. Through continued collaboration with its hospitality partners, OA Globe DMC is committed to delivering exceptional experiences and creating new opportunities for the travel trade across India.
