Ravi Surya Group has launched Ananta Spa & Resort Jaipur, a 351-room luxury property managed by Black Rock Hotels & Resorts. Spread across 40 acres in the Aravali landscape, the resort aims to strengthen Jaipur’s position in the destination wedding, experiential tourism, wellness, and luxury hospitality segments.
Located off the Delhi–Jaipur Highway, the resort has been developed as an integrated hospitality destination inspired by Japanese design principles and hospitality traditions. The launch comes amid growing demand for immersive travel experiences, large-format weddings, wellness-focused stays, and self-contained luxury resorts across India.
The property offers 351 rooms, suites, and villas across five accommodation categories, including private pool suites and presidential residences spanning up to 3,600 sq. ft. Facilities include wellness spaces, a luxury spa, multiple celebration zones, a dedicated kids’ area, and event infrastructure catering to weddings, MICE, leisure travellers, and social gatherings.
Focus on destination weddings
A key component of the resort is its wedding and events infrastructure. The property features 12 event venues, including the 19,000 sq. ft. Sakura Ballroom and the 70,000 sq. ft. Suijin Lawn, which is surrounded by waterfalls and plunge pools.
The resort also includes a dedicated 16-pillared ceremonial Pagoda designed for traditional wedding functions such as baraat processions, ghudchadi, and other rituals.
With Jaipur continuing to attract destination weddings from across India and overseas markets, the property is expected to add significant inventory to the city’s luxury events and celebrations sector.
Speaking on the launch, Ravindra Pratap Singh, Chairman, Ravi Surya Group, said, “Ananta Jaipur has been envisioned as more than a luxury resort. We wanted to create a destination that allows guests to slow down, reconnect with nature and experience celebrations, leisure and hospitality in a deeply immersive way. Rajasthan already has a powerful tourism identity, but we saw an opportunity to create something globally inspired and emotionally distinct from the conventional palace hospitality experience.”
Japanese-inspired hospitality concept
The resort has been conceptualised around the Japanese philosophy of Omotenashi, which focuses on anticipating guests’ needs and delivering hospitality with sincerity.
This influence is reflected throughout the property, from the reception area inspired by Japan’s Arakurayama Sengen Park to landscaped Zen pathways, waterfalls, plunge pools, wellness spaces, and quiet reflection areas.
Among the experiential offerings are the Inori Temple for reflection and ceremonial activities, the Kissaten Tea Lounge inspired by traditional Japanese teahouses, and Shio Kosho, the resort’s vegetarian dining venue serving regional and international cuisine.
Additional facilities include a two-storey entertainment-led Kids Zone, salon and spa facilities, a fitness centre, EV charging stations, and dedicated group checkout facilities for large conferences and wedding groups.
Commenting on the property’s positioning, Gaurav Mudgal, Managing Director, Black Rock Hotels & Resorts, said, “We want to create a destination that serves as the perfect meet, greet and celebrate space, catering to every segment, from leisure and MICE to weddings. By offering every experience in one place, Ananta Spa & Resort Jaipur is poised to become one of Rajasthan’s most sought-after resorts for every occasion.”
Located approximately one hour from Jaipur Airport and Jaipur Railway Station, the resort also offers access to attractions including Amer Fort, Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Elephant Village, and Motocross Adventure Park.
The opening reflects the growing evolution of Rajasthan’s hospitality sector, with experiential resorts and destination-led luxury developments increasingly complementing the state’s traditional heritage hotel offerings.
