SKÅL International Lucknow elects new board at 4th Annual General Meeting


SKÅL International Lucknow successfully held its 4th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on August 22, 2026, at The Centrum, Lucknow, with esteemed club members in attendance. The meeting was conducted in a warm and cordial atmosphere, with members actively participating in discussions concerning the club’s future activities and growth. During the AGM, a new Board of SKÅL International Lucknow was unanimously elected for the forthcoming term.

Anupam Shukla, Director at Holiday Makers, takes over as the new President of SKÅL International Lucknow, having previously served as the club’s Secretary. He brings extensive experience in the travel and tourism industry to the role. The newly elected board also includes Sameer Sharma, Associate Director – Sales (UP & UK) at IndiGo, as Vice President 1; Deepak Khare, State Head – Sales (UP/UK/RAJ) at Air India, as Vice President 2; and Bhagwati Pant, General Manager at The Centrum, Lucknow, as Secretary. Nitin Dey, Station Head at Saudi Arabian Airlines, was elected Treasurer, while Vinod Pandey, Area Director – Operations & General Manager at Taj Damdama Lake Resort & Spa, Gurugram, will serve as Director – PR & Communications. Rahul Nama, General Manager at Novotel Lucknow, was appointed Director – Events & Programmes, and Vikas Dalela, Manager (Sales) at IndiGo, will serve as Director – Membership. Rakesh Mohan Singh, Co-Owner of BKS & DKS Trips Pvt. Ltd., was elected Internal Auditor, while Sunil B. Satyawakta, Managing Director of Civica Travels Pvt. Ltd., will continue in an advisory capacity as Immediate Past President.

Speaking on the occasion, newly elected President Anupam Shukla said it was an honour and privilege to take on the role, noting that SKÅL is built on the strong pillars of friendship, fellowship, tourism and business. He expressed his intention to work closely with the new Board and members to further strengthen these values during his term.

Shukla added that the new Board would prioritise greater member engagement, stronger networking within the travel and hospitality fraternity, meaningful events and programmes, and the creation of new opportunities for business and professional collaboration among members. The new leadership also reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening SKÅL Lucknow’s presence within the broader travel and tourism industry, while continuing to promote the spirit of friendship and fellowship that underpins SKÅL International globally.

The newly elected Board expressed confidence that it would work collectively to take SKÅL Lucknow to new heights, bringing renewed energy, fresh initiatives and greater participation from professionals across the travel, tourism and hospitality fraternity.
