Skål International Lucknow has elected a new board for its forthcoming term, with Anupam Shukla taking over as President. The leadership change follows the club’s 4th Annual General Meeting in Lucknow, where members unanimously elected the new team and outlined priorities around fellowship, networking, member engagement, and business opportunities.
The AGM was held on 22 August 2026 at The Centrum, Lucknow, with members participating in discussions on the club’s future activities and growth.
Shukla, who previously served as Secretary of Skål International Lucknow, moves into the President’s role. He will be supported by Sameer Sharma as VP1 and Deepak Khare as VP2.
Bhagwati Pant has been elected Secretary, while Nitin Dey will serve as Treasurer. The new board also includes Vinod Pandey as Director – PR & Communications, Rahul Nama as Director – Events & Programmes, and Vikas Dalela as Director – Membership.
Rakesh Mohan Singh will serve as Internal Auditor, while Sunil B. Satyawakta will continue to support the club as Immediate Past President (Advisory).

Focus on member engagement
Anupam Shukla, President, Skål International Lucknow, said, “It is an honour and a privilege to take on the responsibility of President of Skål International Lucknow. He added that the new board would focus on greater member engagement, stronger networking within the travel and hospitality fraternity, meaningful events and programmes, and creating opportunities for business and professional collaboration among members.
The new leadership also plans to strengthen Skål Lucknow’s presence within the wider travel and tourism industry while maintaining the organisation’s focus on friendship and fellowship.
The board will serve for the forthcoming term, with the club seeking greater participation from the travel, tourism, and hospitality fraternity through new initiatives and programmes.
