Indian travel trade leaders converged in Greece on Rhodes Island as the Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) marked its 40th anniversary with its landmark Convention, putting destination engagement, trade networking and stronger India-Greece tourism ties at the centre of discussions.
The inaugural ceremony brought together senior TAFI office-bearers and Greek tourism stakeholders, including George Hatzimarkos, Governor of the South Aegean Region and President of the Association of Greek Regions; Abbas Moiz, President, TAFI; Anil Kalsi, Vice President, TAFI; Jay Kantawala, Convention Chairman, TAFI; Amol Kataria, Deputy Convention Chairman, TAFI; Hitank Shah, National General Secretary, TAFI; and Nikolas Kavalieros, Managing Director, World of Travel Factory (WOTF) Group.
The convention provided Indian travel professionals with a platform to engage directly with Greek tourism stakeholders, explore new destination and product opportunities, and build business linkages in the market.
For TAFI, the convention also marked four decades of representing the Indian travel trade and strengthening its international industry connect.
