Uttar Pradesh has added two new ecotourism assets in Bundelkhand, with the state inaugurating the Vanguwan Eco-tourism Centre on the Betwa river in Jhansi and the Ranchhodham-Muchkund Cave Eco-tourism Centre in Lalitpur. The centres were inaugurated by UP Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Arun Kumar Saxena, who said ecotourism would generate local employment while strengthening awareness of forest, wildlife and biodiversity conservation. The development adds two new nature-based attractions to the Bundelkhand tourism circuit, giving travel trade players additional experiences to consider for itineraries covering Jhansi and Lalitpur. The minister also inaugurated the renovated Vetravati Zonal Auditorium and participated in a state-level workshop focused on green cover and groundwater recharge in Bundelkhand.
