Akasa Air will shift all its flight operations at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) to Terminal 2 from August 1, 2026.
The terminal change will apply to all Akasa Air flights operating from Mumbai. Passengers have been advised to verify their flight and terminal details before travelling to the airport.
The airline has also urged travellers to complete web check-in through its website or mobile application in advance to ensure a smoother airport experience.
Akasa Air is notifying passengers about the transition through multiple communication channels ahead of the operational shift.
The consolidation of services at Terminal 2 is expected to streamline passenger movement and improve travel convenience for flyers departing from Mumbai.
The terminal move comes as Akasa Air continues expanding its network while reportedly seeking to raise INR 1,050 crore through a mix of equity and debt to support its growth plans.
