ITA Airways restores Rome–Riyadh flights with 5 weekly flights from 15 September

ITA Airways will resume its non-stop service between Rome Fiumicino and Riyadh from 15 September 2026, reintroducing five weekly flights to strengthen connectivity between Italy and Saudi Arabia. The route will operate daily except Mondays and Saturdays from Rome, with return services from Riyadh operating daily except Tuesdays and Sundays. The reinstatement reflects the carrier’s focus on the Kingdom, one of the Middle East’s fastest-growing aviation and business travel markets, while offering seamless onward connections via Rome to ITA Airways’ domestic, European and long-haul network. The move also aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy, which is driving rapid expansion in tourism, aviation and investment, increasing demand for direct international connectivity. The restored service further enhances travel options alongside existing operators on the route and reinforces Rome Fiumicino’s role as a key gateway linking Europe with the Gulf. Flights are now open for booking through all ITA Airways sales channels.
