Mumbai Tourism to change city image of transit hub by creating structured tourist circuits

Announcing the inception of Mumbai Tourism, Aanchal Sood Goyal, IAS, Collector, Mumbai City, said that the tourism board’s aim is to reposition Mumbai as an epicentre of experiential tourism. “The city today is seen only as a point of entry and exit. We want tourists to stay back longer and spend more. The tourism board that will be launched soon will develop and promote itineraries that promote longer stays.” She also requested the support of all national travel and hospitality associations to achieve this. A new logo of Mumbai Tourism will be revealed soon, and a mobile app is also underway.
